Left and middle figures were in a bag of 20 - mail ordered direct from the HH shop - and the right figure was from the samples I picked up from the store - they are ALL marked RN/14. It doesn't show too well in the photo but the left and middle figures are identical except for plume. Most of the mail order ones had plume cut of (you can see the cut) and had pom-pom only - one was apparently missed!
Now it could possibly be a really bad mold breaking and filling in etc and the musket subsequently raising up at the break etc - but then again maybe not.
Anybody else seen this variation? Just in case anybody thinks David Clayton - I have never bought any HH off of him and he wasn't around when I bought these.

Most likely explanation for me would be that cutting the plume off was so that the figure could then be sold as something else that looked like this figure but without the plum!
